The song acts as the follow-up to Thinking 'Bout Somethin'. The tour continues through Australia and America until the end of October. The upbeat pop/rock number is the second single from American band Hanson's eighth studio album, Shout It Out. Hanson started from June 2017 with a new tour called "Middle of Everywhere 25th Anniversary Tour". In 2011 the band had a guest role in the clip of Katy Perry: Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F) Hello gone awry Dont cry the fight aint over Unless you let it pass you by (chorus) Im looking for a song to. In June 2011 they gave a performance at the Pinkpop music festival in the Netherlands. A Song To Sing Goodbye four leaf clovers. On their previous album The Walk you will find the song "Great Divide" that can be downloaded via the internet and the proceeds of which go to HIV / AIDS and poverty alleviation in Africa. After difficulties with their last record company, they decided to start their own record company, which was baptized 3CG Records. They released the last 4 albums under their own management. Kicking off with a healthy dose of cowbell before the brass section transforms it into one hell of a Blues Brothers homage, Thinkin’ is maddeningly catchy kiss-off song. MMMBop was in first place in the charts in 27 countries and in 1998 gave the band three Grammy nominations.Īfter this it became a bit quieter around Hanson, but in the last few years they released 5 albums. On Shout It Out, lead single Thinkin’ About Somethin’ fits that bill. The boys first broke through in the Netherlands and Flanders in 1997 with their hit MMMBop, from the album Middle of Nowhere. Warning: Songs will get stuck in your head.Hanson is an American band consisting of the three brothers Isaac (November 17, 1980), Taylor (March 14, 1983) and Zac (October 22, 1985) Hanson. I did not listen to Hanson much before this album, but I cannot hear enough of Shout It Out. This is a great album for road trips, for background music, and for just listening to. Music fans of all ages will enjoy this well executed album from a band that has been honing their musical talents together for more than a decade and a half and producing albums for the public for thirteen years. ![]() There is of course a nice balance between upbeat songs and the slow ballads added into the mix, filling the album with a nice alternation of ups and downs but all soulful, thoughtful lyrics and attention to detail from each drumbeat to the icing on the cake: the horn section. There are fun tunes throughout the album such as Waiting for This, the even fun scavenger hunt of musical references that is Thinking 'Bout Somethin' (which has a music video taken almost directly from the 1980 Saturday Night Live classic film The Blues Brothers starring Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi), saxophone-enhanced Give a Little, Musical Ride and Voice in the Chorus. Shout It Out is a shout out to the good kind of oldies music that all music of the last four-five decades has stemmed from, the soulful, R & B of yesteryear with talented and fun musicians such as Sam & Dave and Otis Redding. ![]() Tell anyone you listen to Hanson and they get a funny look on their face that you know is linked to a picture of long-haired boys singing Mmmbop on rollerblades back in 1997, but the truth is that Hanson is so much more than Mmmbop, and this album is the perfect example of this. For many people nowadays Hanson seems to be treated like a taboo in the music world, which I personally don't understand. ![]()
